Bridge blades

The Lethbridge Amateur Speed Skating Association - Bridge Blades 

is a club devoted to the sport of speed skating in Lethbridge, Alberta. 

Our MISSION

The Lethbridge Amateur Speed Skating Association (LSSA) enables skaters of all ages and skill levels to participate in the sport of speed skating. In addition to advancing the sport, individuals focus on personal as well as team growth through on and off-ice activities in a safe, inclusive, supportive, and fun environment.

Registration

We are so excited about the upcoming 2022 - 2023 season and are ready to welcome new and returning club members!

This will be the first year we are offering online early registration for our popular Learn To Speed Skate Program, which runs Oct 4 thru Dec 13, 2022.

​

Fittings for equipment will take place at the Labor Club Ice Arena in September at a date to be announced. 

​

All ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy this fantastic sport! Please note that basic balance and movement on skates is needed. 

​

Affordable equipment rental (skates and suits) is available and basic starter kits for additional equipment are available to purchase. 

​
