Bridge blades
The Lethbridge Amateur Speed Skating Association - Bridge Blades
is a club devoted to the sport of speed skating in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Our MISSION
The Lethbridge Amateur Speed Skating Association (LSSA) enables skaters of all ages and skill levels to participate in speed skating. In addition to advancing the sport, individuals focus on personal and team growth through on and off-ice activities in a safe, inclusive, supportive, and fun environment.

Want to learn to Speed Skate?
We offer both 1 and 2-day Learn To Speed Skate Programs to new skaters with your choice to skate on Tuesday or Thursday! New skaters can choose from half or full-year programs.
Speed Skating Schedule for 2023-2024:
Session 1 (first half) runs from September 25, 2023 until December 21, 2023
Session 2 (second half) runs from January 2, 2024 until March 28, 2024

All ages and abilities are welcome!
Please note that basic balance and movement on skates is needed.
Affordable equipment rental (skates and suits) are available. We also sell basic starter kits with the additional required safety equipment to skate.

We are a proud partner with Jumpstart! You can access child grants here and apply online.
